OSFC BUILDING PROJECT

Ohio School Facilities Commission
and North Baltimore Schools

The State of Ohio through the Ohio Schools Facilities Commission (OSFC) is providing financial assistance to school districts by funding part of the cost of improving school facilities.   The North Baltimore Schools has been notified that we qualify to receive their assistance in the classroom Facilities Assistance Program (CFAP).

The North Baltimore Board of Education is setting up a committee for community input into the process of deciding the many issues related to improving the district’s facilities, including whether or not to participate in the State’s CFAP Program.   To accomplish the goal of significant community input, we are asking a group of North Baltimore residents to form a Facility Planning Committee.  This committee will be comprised of citizens from throughout the school district, and will be charged with the responsibilities to:

  • Review the OSFC’s Master Plan recommendations for the North Baltimore Schools;

  • Review relevant data and information to develop additional facility improvement options for the school district;

  • Provide opportunities for community input into discussions regarding the proposed building improvements and

  • Develop a recommendation to the North Baltimore Board of Education regarding a proposed Facility Master Plan for the North Baltimore School District.

The first of several meetings will be held beginning this September.   If you have any interest in being a part of this committee, please contact the board of education office, Mr. Kyle Clark, Superintendent at 419-257-3531
